At TechRecover, we aim to provide high-quality IT equipment return solutions for UK businesses. We understand that circumstances may arise where our customers need to return a Prepaid Laptop Return Kit they've purchased. This document outlines our returns policy, which complies with UK consumer protection regulations and Google Merchant guidelines.

Return Eligibility

  • Customers may return unused, unopened Prepaid Laptop Return Kits within 30 days of purchase

  • The kit must be in its original packaging and in resalable condition

  • Custom or personalized kits may have limited return eligibility

How to Initiate a Return

To initiate a return, please contact us using one of the following methods:

When contacting us, please include your order number and reason for return. Our customer service team will respond within 1 business day with further instructions and a prepaid return label.

Return Process

  1. Contact TechRecover to request a return as detailed above

  2. Receive a prepaid return label via email

  3. Package the unused kit securely in its original packaging

  4. Attach the return label to the outside of the package

  5. Drop off the package at any Royal Mail collection point

  6. Keep your receipt as proof of return

Refund Process

  • Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item

  • The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for purchase

  • The refund amount will include the original purchase price minus any applicable return fees

  • If the return is due to our error or a defective product, all return shipping costs will be covered by TechRecover

Return Fees

  • Standard returns: £4.99 return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund

  • Returns due to TechRecover error or defective products: No fees applied

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective Prepaid Laptop Return Kit:

  • Contact us within 7 days of receiving the item

  • Include photos of the damaged items when possible

  • We will arrange for a replacement or full refund at our discretion

Exceptions

  • Insurance fees are non-refundable once a kit has been dispatched

  • Custom or bespoke shipping solutions may have different return terms, which will be specified at the time of purchase
